I think there was a lot more to Ledger's death than his performance of the Joker. Indeed, I believe he was filming other roles when he died, but we don't hear about them, as they're not as "cool" as the Joker. I only recently found out, for example, that he had a bad drug problem, including cocaine and heroine (eh... perhaps this had something to do with him overdosing as opposed to his portrayal of the Joker?), and his ex was going to claim sole custody of their child. I dislike the whole conspiracy theory that has been built up around him, and it's just another example of magicians jumping to a magical conclusion before exhausting all possible physical ones.
