Naive ROLLING STONE Writer Shocked By Crazy-Christian Mind Control Tactics

Rolling Stone writer goes undercover at a crazy-Christian group where they apparently break you down, convert you, and build you back up again.

Stupidly, when asked to "share," the writer makes up an outlandish story about his drunken clown father beating him with oversized shoes.

Unfortunately, my one fleeting error of judgment about my circus-clown dad had left me shackled to a rank character absurdity for the rest of my stay in Texas. I soon found myself reading aloud a passage from my "autobiography" describing a period of my father's life when he quit clowning to hand out fliers in a Fudgie the Whale costume outside a Carvel ice cream store:

I laugh about it now, but once he chased me, drunk, in his Fudgie the Whale costume. He chased me into the bathroom, laid me across the toilet seat and hit me with his fins, which underneath were still a man's hands.

Again no reaction from the group, aside from an affirming nod from José at the last part — his eyes said to me, I know what you mean about those fins.

There's dark, and then there's this.

After noting the CIA's well-documented previous interest in black magic, ce399 writes:

Perhaps the weaponization of demonolotry is arrived at through some form of holographic or virtual reality (a technology long-suppressed by the Pentagon) 'cage', in which the target is enclosed in a three-dimensional 'grid' or prison capable of remote manipulations of psychical and/or physical and mental functions. In this way, the subject is deceived into believing s/he has come into contact with demonic entities.

Similarly, it is not far fetched to imagine a type of electro-magnetic 'gulag' or 'grid' surrounding an entire nation state in prison camp-like fashion: with sonic projection, psychotronic, brain scanning technologies, psycho-acoustic correction, active-denial, synthetic telepathy and other remote electronic harassment systems serving a function similar to prison security search lights, guard towers, prison dogs and security personnel.

Mmm, wouldn't put it past 'em. (Though some people would probably want to be in there voluntarily. But that don't make it right, now.)

"That Strange Hill"

This comprehensive site about Glastonbury, home of occultist Dion Fortune, covers many of the myths and traditions about the sacred town.

More scientific evidence for reincarnation.

Many were able to give precise details, such as their former names and the manner of their deaths. They could even recall the names of friends and family, many of whom Dr Stevenson was able to track down through birth records. Others knew intimate details known only to the deceased's family.

Such findings have led respected academics to startling conclusions. 'Reincarnation is the most likely explanation for the strongest cases,' says Dr Jim Tucker, medical director of the Child and Family Psychiatric Clinic at the University of Virginia in the U.S.
Several fascinating cases discussed in the full article.

Satanic cults all the rage in Rome.

William Blake's Ghost of a Flea

The overwhelmingly Roman Catholic nation of Italy has an estimated 800 satanic cults, with more than 600,000 followers. But Rome, home to Vatican City and the pope, is where the fiercest spiritual battle is taking place...

...In recent years, gruesome murders have been linked to devil worship in Italy including a case several years ago involving members of a heavy metal band named the Beasts of Satan. Band members had stabbed, clubbed, and buried alive two teenagers in northwest Milan.

One of the victims was allegedly killed because she resembled the Virgin Mary.

And how would they know? Stupid.

The Prophecies of Nostradamus

This video is from 1979 but look how much useful info they get from Nostradamus's predictions -- including the attack on New York.

If you're already familiar with Nos, I'd only start watching this video around the one-hour mark.

How Paul Foster Case got kicked out of The Golden Dawn, ca 1921.

In her July 18th letter, [the leader of the Golden Dawn] tells Case, "You evidently have reached a point in your mystical Way where there would appear to exist certain cross-roads. The artist in you, which I recognize, and with whom I deeply sympathize, would probably choose to learn the Truth through the joy and beauty of physical life." She continued, "You who have studied the Pantheons, do you know of that enchanting God, the Celtic Angus, the Ever Young? He who is sometimes called Lord of the Land of Heart's Desire?" Angus rescued Etain, the Moon, who had been turned into a golden fly. But Etain had to choose between bodily existence in the land of mortals and everlasting life. She continued still, "The artist in us may have lingered in that land for a moment. But you and I who would be teachers and pioneers in this Purgatorial World must be prepared before all the Gods to be the servants of the greatest of them all... the Osiris, the Christ, the God of the Sacrifice of the Self." Moina then asked Case to resign from his position as Praemonstrator.

Magician Herbie Brennan on an attempt at physically evoking Anubis.

Why don't people ever start with the minor, more playful happy gods for this kind of experiment?

Note the presence of the "wandering bishop" in this story as well.
