Found this late, but it's worth it.

Lest we forget, Arlen Specter has been involved in conspiracies for a long time, and Lee Harvey Oswald remains on his mind.

CONSPIRACY WORLD ROCKED: Elders of Zion Abandon All Sense of Protocol

The Elders of Zion, the venerable and shadowy Jewish organization that controls the international banking industry, news media and Hollywood, has announced that it is disbanding so that members can retire to Florida and live out their golden years on the golf course.

“We had a good run,” said one senior Elder, reminiscing over old photographs of world leaders in his musty, wood-paneled office at an undisclosed location. “Maybe we ran the world for just a little too long. Anyway, now it’s Obama’s problem.”

A person who consorted with the devil supposedly had a mark somewhere on his flesh as a souvenir of the experience. A modern UFO contactee develops these "devil's marks," sometimes in the form of a wart or boil, sometimes a rash or blotch that looks like a birthmark...Nothing in the paranormal world is as it seems.

A Romantic Hero Over Whom The Symbolically-Minded May Swoon

The late James Shelby Downard's primal way of looking at things, which is the way I think ancient man perceived the world, encompasses a vision that detects every link and every symbol, beginning with the significance of names, then places and then the obsessive actions which stem from the confluence of the two and which have come to be known as ritual. Publisher Adam Parfrey, who first brought Shelby's work to a mass audience, states:

"In Downard's writings, the products of his subconscious bubble to the surface and catalyze painstaking research. The collision of the poetic against the logical works especially well in the field of conspiracy; it remains the freshest approach to a field of inquiry..."

I remember sitting in Shelby's airstream trailer in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1977, along with the great Fortean philosopher William N. Grimstad and Charles Saunders, a brilliant recluse who was a close friend of Jack Kerouac toward the end of the Beat writer's life (a fact missed by every one of Kerouac's numerous biographers; so much for biographers).

Shelby's conversation that day ranged from the occult significance of the Theremin musical instrument to the sorcerous implications of elevators, the relationship he had with an evanescent rabbit named Petey; the sinister connotations of the circus and the mystical topography of the American Southwest, which Mr. Downard knew the way you and I know our backyard.

As he fried our hamburgers, he regaled us in his prospector's drawl with the hidden wonders of a tapestry of coincidences which he wove from the seeming mundane details of everyday living, into a magic carpet of incomparable strangeness and peerless utility.

Parfrey spoke for many of Shelby's friends and associates when he stated:

"Downard has influenced me to look with interest upon the details and the fantastic convergences of life..."

The Dark Side of the Moon

A mystery illness has lately felled most of the Chronicles staff. We are down, but not out. Posting goes on.

Famouser and famouser.

Old J.P. is everywhere lately, enjoying his own little revival. Here is his first and long-overdue comic book cover. Supposedly a Parsons character has a role in the upcoming Crowley movie as well.

Love the ill of Crowley in the lower left corner.

Some Internetters have noted a resemblance between poor Suri Cruise and the late L. Ron Hubbard, who would not have been above freezing his sperm and stuff, and plus he may have wanted a Crowley-inspired "moonchild."

Asked about skeptics who believe his marriage to Holmes is a public relations stunt, Cruise said, "That's laughable to me. I don't know what to say."

Winfrey asked about a book that she said "implied" Suri was not Cruise's child.

"I've had a lot of books written about me. When someone compares your daughter to Rosemary's baby — it's one thing to come after me. Say stuff about me," he said. "But when it comes to my family, my children, that's when I went, `This is off the chart.'"

Sometimes things are just so weird that even if they're not true they're still, like, true.

There's dark, and then there's this.

After noting the CIA's well-documented previous interest in black magic, ce399 writes:

Perhaps the weaponization of demonolotry is arrived at through some form of holographic or virtual reality (a technology long-suppressed by the Pentagon) 'cage', in which the target is enclosed in a three-dimensional 'grid' or prison capable of remote manipulations of psychical and/or physical and mental functions. In this way, the subject is deceived into believing s/he has come into contact with demonic entities.

Similarly, it is not far fetched to imagine a type of electro-magnetic 'gulag' or 'grid' surrounding an entire nation state in prison camp-like fashion: with sonic projection, psychotronic, brain scanning technologies, psycho-acoustic correction, active-denial, synthetic telepathy and other remote electronic harassment systems serving a function similar to prison security search lights, guard towers, prison dogs and security personnel.

Mmm, wouldn't put it past 'em. (Though some people would probably want to be in there voluntarily. But that don't make it right, now.)

On Ne Sais Jamais: The End of Certainty

"One of the primary means of immobilizing the American people politically today is to hold them in a state of confusion in which anything can be believed and nothing can be known… nothing of significance, that is."

E. Martin Schotz, in History Will Not Absolve Us: Orwellian Control, Public Denial, and the Murder of President Kennedy (Quoted recently online by researcher and T.G.C. hero Jeff Wells.)

This quotation applies just as well, of course, to the popular debate on so many other issues. Global warming. 9/11. You name it.
